Haliburton Hockey Haven is thrilled to announce a special visit from two standout athletes in the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) — Emma Woods and Emma Greco. On Monday, July 21, the two Emmas will join our girls at camp for an unforgettable day of high-level instruction, inspiration, and mentorship both on and off the ice.
Emma Woods, a dynamic forward known for her leadership and skill, brings a wealth of experience from her career in both North America and overseas. Her journey from grassroots hockey to professional success is one that will resonate deeply with our young athletes. Joining her is Emma Greco, a steady and reliable defenseman who has earned a reputation for her strong hockey IQ, poise under pressure, and commitment to team play.
The day promises to be a unique experience for our girl campers, who will have the opportunity to skate alongside two of the best in the game. On the ice, Woods and Greco will run drills, offer hands-on instruction, and share insights from their pro careers. Off the ice, they’ll take part in camp activities, talk about their own hockey paths, and help instill confidence and motivation in the next generation of female players.
Having role models like Woods and Greco at Haliburton Hockey Haven highlights our ongoing commitment to empowering young athletes through exposure to elite talent and strong female leadership in the sport.
We can’t wait to welcome them to camp for what is sure to be a fun, energetic, and inspiring day for everyone involved!
