I have been attending camp as a camper and staff for 20 years and was a camper at HHH as a kid where I fell in love with the combined aspects of camp and high-level hockey training in the summer. Spending 6 years as a camper made me want to continue my journey as a staff member, working as a hockey coach and counselor at HHH for 7 years. I graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Commerce in 2019 and started as the Director of Operations at Hockey Haven in 2020. I continue to coach youth through sports at camp and on the ice with the objective of inspiring work ethic, respect, and a love for the game of hockey and all things sport.

Faith Mitchell Program DirectorI Have played hockey for 12 years as a goaltender and was part of my high school team as well as the Guelph Gryphons minor team for five years. I started at Halliburton Hockey Haven sports camp in 2018 as a cabin counselor with an on-ice presence assisting the goalies. Since then, I have progressed from counselor to goalie coach, Director of the Leader in Training program and now Program Director. Summer 2022 was my first summer as program director at Hockey Haven and I look forward to coordinating and continuing to develop our on-site programming, with the goal of providing our campers with the best experience possible. Aside from hockey, some of my favorite camp activities are basketball, tennis, bonfires, and tetherball! If you or your campers have any ideas or games you would love to see at camp, I am always happy to hear them!

Jacqueline Cannon Head Lifeguard and Director of WaterfrontI have been with HHH since the summer of 2019 working as a camp counsellor and lifeguard. Two things that I loved growing up were playing sports and spending time at the cottage in Haliburton so when hearing about HHH, I was very excited to be able to have a work opportunity that incorporated both. Since then, I have become very passionate about working with kids in an inclusive and encouraging manner. Camp gives kids a chance to strengthen their skills in athletics while also building self-confidence in a social setting.
I am currently in the process of completing a Bachelor of Science in Environmental science at the University of Guelph. I hope to pursue a career in environmental education where I can work in an outdoor, hands-on setting like that of camp. I am committed to ensuring kids have an enjoyable and memorable time while at camp!

Abby Sinclair Leader in Training DirectorI have been working at Haliburton Hockey haven since summer 2022 as a camp counselor as well as wakeboard driver, and most recently the Director of the Leader in Training program.
Having been a camper for 12 years, and now working at HHH, I have found camp is the best place for kids to grow and learn more about themselves while having fun and making friends. I plan to continue to help the Leaders in Training grow into the best counselors they can be and have a ton of fun along the way! My favorite parts of camp are wakeboarding, beach volleyball and tennis!
I have graduated from a Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology with a Minor in Biology at Laurier University. I hope to work in the field of physiotherapy specialized to youth sports teams.

Connor Graham Hockey DirectorI’ve been part of the Haliburton Hockey Haven family since 2021, and after recently retiring from professional hockey, I’m excited to focus on coaching and player development. I’m passionate about the game and love working with young athletes to help them grow both on and off the ice.
Before stepping into coaching, I played four seasons of professional hockey across the ECHL, SPHL, and Germany’s Oberliga. I also had the incredible opportunity to attend the New York Islanders’ Rookie, Development, and Main Camps from 2014 to 2017.
My journey started at the RedBull Junior Hockey Academy, followed by three seasons in the OHL with the Ottawa 67s from 2013 to 2016. I then continued my career at Wilfrid Laurier University, where I competed at the USports level and graduated in 2020.
I’m proud to bring my experience and passion to camp, and I’m committed to helping every player reach their full potential.

Quinn Binnie Hockey DirectorI’ve been part of Haliburton Hockey Haven since 2007—starting as a camper until 2019, then returning as a counsellor for two years before becoming Hockey Director in 2022.
I was drafted to the Mississauga Steelheads in 2020 and began playing in the OHL in 2021. After two seasons with the Steelheads, I played one year with the Peterborough Petes. I’m now continuing my hockey career at Queen’s University with the men’s hockey team.
I’m passionate about helping campers grow both on and off the ice. Being involved in their hockey training and development is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. Outside of hockey, I love golf, tennis, wakeboarding, and wakesurfing—and soaking up every minute of camp life.
