At Haliburton Hockey Haven Sports Camp we are dedicated to enriching the lives of young athletes through sport, education and leadership. Leader In Training Program
The 3 week Leader in Training program at Haliburton Hockey Haven offers those age 16 the opportunity to develop skills that will be useful in becoming a camp counselor and community leader. The program provides an educational transition from camper to staff, focusing on the shift from participation to leadership. Along with 2 weeks of instruction overseen by our leadership staff the LIT’s will also be given the opportunity to gain volunteer hours in their 3rd week. We offer 3 overnight LIT sessions throughout the summer with each program being a three-week commitment with mandatory overnight stay.
The process to becoming an LIT at HHH starts with a LIT application that will be sent out if you are interested in joining our team. Applicants will be then be invited to our interview process, those offered admission will be required to register for camp online. We are looking for individuals who are ready to take on greater responsibilities than that of a regular camper.
What is the cost?
The 3 week residential LIT program is $1000 per week. This cost includes: room and board, meals, access to all camp activities and an LIT HHH shirt.
